That's funny, I don't know ONE person who makes minimum wage.
Then again, I don't hang out with high school kids and illegal immigrants.

Lets be serious here, you have to be a REAL screw up to make minimum wage. I mean, you don't have ONE SINGLE SKILL? Nothing? Nothing you can do is worth more than minimum wage? If that's the case then you deserve the pay you're getting.

I dropped out of high school in the 10th grade, I'm 26 now, and I'm making over $35,000 a year + Benefits + Bonuses.

Some people are not even worth minimum wage, how is that our governments/Bushes fault?

It's just the liberals looking for handouts for all the drug addicts, illegal immigrants, morons, and other lazy people in our decaying society.

Wages are rising 0.3% a months and inflation is 4.3% a year. So are they really rising or ... ?

It's fun to look at all those ads. Unemployment is low, economy is 'robust', inflation is low, Dow is over 10 to the 4th. etc. (and all that in very calm voice from an older guy in glasses with advanced college degree) The guys are working! Vote for Republican/Democrat camp and you'll get more of the same.

 

I don't understand why so many people don't have money market accounts. There mostly liquid at every bank, so they could actually break inflation and keep their savings. *shrug*

Then again, I'm more like the Chinese, and I save money...not all Americans are that way.

Because even if you pull inflation numbers out of lorien's butt, money markets barely cover it, and after taxes, you are in negative. If you take real inflation numbers you are in negative even before taxes

 

And that's why I prefer to get all of my numbers from lorien's butt.
