Have any of you article-directory-link-development guys (and I include myself in this category) even wondered about why links from some well-known article directories never seem to show up or show up very high on, e.g., Alexa's list? I.e., if I use Alexa (or other tools) to look at the links into any of the sites shown in my sig, I see some of the article directories to which I've posted articles. Amazines.com, Buzzle.com, etc. And rather high on the list. But there are other article directories to which I posted, e.g., 100+ articles to that simply don't show up. Period. Ezinearticles dot com, to name one. This, BTW, got me curious about another affiliated site, Top 7 Business dot com. You can look at who that site's most prolific authors are... guys with 100+ articles, etc... and while the Top 7 site ranks okay, the people feeding the article directory appear pretty lowly ranked... and, to get back to my point, the sites don't appear to have links from the Top 7 site... I'm thinking to myself right now that it may not make sense to post articles to directories that, what, effectively cloak your links? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Any other article posters wondered/worried about this?
