Bad Business, or it is me?

I recently bought a domain for $25 from a person I was familiar with on a forum. It's a 4 letter PR 3 .com. I developed a website and several months later, got an email from the guy asking if he could buy the name. I told him I would think about it and would be interested in selling it if he could do some design for me. It didn't work out as I changed my mind because I found someone else to do the design instead.

It's been a around month since the guy first offered to buy back the name and I've been barraged with various offers from him in return for the name, mostly trades for 4 letter .coms he just registered. I haven't had much time to look over his offers and told the guy I needed time to think about whether or not I wanted to sell the name.

I got an email today from this guy. He has registered pcfastlane.net, a variant of my website, pcfastlane.com! He also created a Gmail account for it, .

He told me, along with a few choice words that aren't allowed to be repeated here, that he has one last offer for me. He wants to trade pcfastlane.com plus a little bit of money via PayPal for the domain!

Now listen to this! This is exactly what he told me:
If I don't reply to this email by tonight, he is threatening to move his websites over to the domain.

I am not scared of this guy, but I think he is going way too far. Is he cybersquatting? What course of action would be best for me to take? I know I would encounter some bad people some day while doing online transactions, but I don't have the experience others do in these kinds of situations.

I am keeping the domain and the person's name anonymous because I don't wish to defile this person.

Hire a hacker and a lawyer. Thats what I'd do if I had lots of money.

If that is true, it definitely is a bad faith registration.
