Ok, so some of you may have noticed my post "complete website overhaul". In there I talk about this new job that I recently started. It's great, they have me doing everything, and I mean eeevvvvverrrryyythhhinng! Internet Marketing Manager...that's the official title...pretty catchy. Anyway, enough about me.

So, the SEO guy that was there before me decided that he want to add a bunch of spam backlinks to the site. You know, the ones where you end up on the same page as "Adult Personals" and "Female Escorts"...horrible. I showed them to the owner of the company and he's like: "Get rid of them now!" So, I've contacted the site owners, but still haven't either received a response nor gotten our links taken down. What do you think? Has anyone else ran into this problem? Besides continually sending them emails, I can't think of another way to get rid of em. I guess I could just email them two or three-hundred times a day. Maybe they'll get sick me filling up their inbox.

Thats a dilemma. Nothing you can do. Find a phone number and contact them you may get a better response rate. Shouldnt have any negative impact on your site, probably no positive either though

Yeah it's probably no big deal. If the links aren't extreeemely spammy, they'll just be discounted anyway.
