    GoodSync2Go
    R-Studio Data Recovery Software

I'm with manofwar. I use the backup utility that's oart of Windows. It works and it's free. Otherwise, you can create an ISO file of the entire disk with IMGBurn and copy it to an external hard drive.

    Hi There

Acronis gets my vote or Easeus Todo Backup which is FREE for home / business use (client and servers) and is excellent!

Both have the ability to create a boot CD which you can use to boot an unbootable system, locate a system backup file and restore.

Easeus Todo also provides a BartPE / UBCD4WIN plugin which is brilliant in my opinion.

Yes you can use the builtin backup in Windows but full system backup is NOT available in certain versions of Windows such as Vista Home editions. You will only get file backup with these editions which won't help you if your OS goes down.

I'd suggest Easeus Todo to anyone!

    Regards

I use ayrecovery professional, maybe you never heard it before, but it is really good software for protecting our data on the computer.
I used windows backup tools before too, I found it is too slow and update is complex. So I changed to ayrecovery professional , it can backup and recover data in seconds. And it works even the computer crashed.

    Hi guys
The Backup programs in Windows 98 and Windows Me where originally created by Seagate Software, now Veritas. They are relatively simple but, not surprisingly considering their origin, work well with removable magnetic media such as tapes and floppy discs. As these programs come free with Windows 98 and Windows Me, they are ideal for a low-cost data backup strategy.

Backup the system data is most important to protect the data. But in any case if you forget to take backup of your data and suddenly you get lost that then don't worry about that because lot of companies are providing data recovery services which can get back your lost data.

    I'll go with goodsync2go.

The company is the same who make roboform AI and I'm very satisfied with their product. SInce the product help me a lot with saving all my pass and user name in social bookmarking site. Really... it's worth the investment. This is the program that i never regret to buy (roboform) from the start i purchase, i still use it even now.

Now their new product already available (goodsync2go). I really2 dare to say that their service is top notch.
