Can anyone recommend me some good automatically daily/monthly back up server provider? Thanks

I was originally with PC-Core but look like they are shutting down.

What type of backups are you looking for?

    FTP? rSYNC? http?

How much space etc? Do you need the auto backups script setup?

On my past back up server, I get the following: 20GB storage, FTP, rSync and SCP.
Edit: I don't think I need auto backup script set up since WHM will do most of the thing I believe. So, this should be remote FTP backup.

Use free hosts for backup. :)

http://www.000webhost.com should do it but also 110mb.com. Both offer enough space to do weekly backups without problem.

Thing is I have a very big site which have over 2GB storage at the moment, and I want to do daily back up so 2 x7 = 14GB at least in storage. In addition, most of free host will complain when I burn their server resources while transferring. On top of that, majority of free host clearly stated in their TOS that you can't use the server as a backup storage. xD

I am not new to the whole hosting thing and yes I did my homework LoL

Thanks for all the suggestion. I am going with softlayer or probably serverbeach. ^_^ Nothing can beat Raid 6 and professional support.

Have you asked the people who are providing the server?
I know the servers we use they offer USB hard drives very cheap and SAN is even cheaper again!
Also because its on site you can claim if they lose backups, also the speed is amazing!

RAID is NOT a good backup solution. No matter which one you use.

Ask the guys over at Journalspace. Here's a good summary of what happened: http://www.ahlera.com/blog/journalspace-dies/

My suggestion is to get a cheap VPS or cheap shared hosting account that allows ssh and set up a backup archive so that it happens automatically via cronjob, rsync, scp, etc.
