hi, i was wondering if downloading the forum database with all the options checked from the admin panel will save everything i need just in case i lose everything, get hacked, etc. everything as in all members and posts.

    thanks

    Yes.
But if the file is somehow corrupted it is better to download from phpmyadmin.
So do both just in case.

backing up from the admin panel saves the database only, not the files.
you'll have to back those up as well. when you install a mod, a backup of the theme and source files is created in Packages/backup
