Can anyone recommend a free ftp client that I can set up a "job" in to download my FTP site to my local machine on a regular basis. Like say once every 6 hours or so?

You can set-up a WGET on a Windows or Linux OS and schedule a task for automated backup transfer....

Sure, no problem. He has underlined the word free so I tried not to mention CuteFTP although I am using it myself and believe it is the best out there.
Scheduled downloads and uploads are working nicely with it!
