Using the backlink surveillance feature of the Keyword Tracker gives the number of backlinks found by G! for the analysed webpage(es). Q: If the number of BLs has decreased, how do I find out which ones have been lost? Any suggestions to this are welcome! Tnx in advance & best regards
i think there is no such big database to save all sites i have recognized a few sites if you search bl s or pr it is saving if you dont search nothin
Well you can use some backlink checking sites to find which you have lost. But i dont think any site would be able to give you exact site which was linking to you earlier and is not doing now. But you can see the current sites backlinking and then later on recheck if they are doing or not . I use http://www.backlinkwatch.com It is a good tool for checking backlinks. Ace.
Thanks everybody! Yeah, I'm using 'backlinkwatch' from time to time - but as you say, it's a tedious job to do the comparison. And the effort is rapidly increasing with the number of BLs, of course. Something like the compare facilities in G! Analytics (over two time intervals) would be useful, though. A difficult problem, isn't it? Rgds
