Backordering ...how is this working?

    I sign with GoDaddy and made a backorder on an certain .com domain, how is this backordering working?

    At GoDaddy, backorder just means they will grab the domain if noone else snatches it up over at TDNAM. Your best bet is to bid on it over at TDNAM in the hopes of getting it.

    Backording is mostly a scam, your chances of getting the domain name are so low it's not worth paying for the service.

    Backordering is for newbies

    it never worked and i dont think it will ever work...

    they simply take your money for giving hope that will never turn true

    but hey, im not saying godaddy is bad...i actually use them... 95% of my domains are with them. they are very good

    IMHO, the GoDaddy backordering service is a joke. I put in a couple orders when I first started domaining and only had one actually work. The other I've been changing around to different names for a while now because it never works. I don't think I'll ever put in another backorder.
