Is it best to back-order through one company, or as many as possible? I just tried Pool.com and registerfly.com. Should I try any others, like snapnames.com? (Domain registered through networksolutions.com and they refer to snapnames.com.) I was going to do GoDaddy, until reading the horror stories here of bad luck. Currently the domain is under 'Pending Renewal or Deletion'. Expires on 09-Oct-2005. Based on that, and seven days, does the next two days look like the end of the domain?
Its good to place backorders through multiple companies. Registerfly and godaddy are useless, they never catch a single domain. snapnames is one good. BTW what is the domain name ninno J/K
I use snapnames, only started getting expired domains recently but they have got 4 out of 6 of the ones i wanted so would definately reccommend them, not sure how the price is compared to othres though
Blarg, there worthless: The following names were not available and could not be added to your account: *ack****1337****wacko**911***.com And I think it's due to leave the 'Pending Renewal or Deletion' with in a day or two, if it lasts one week!! Administrative Contact: Pending Renewal or Deletion Record expires on 09-Oct-2005. er what's the name??? I'll tell you once I get it. Hint: A Nintendo domain.
Is that domain registered with Network solution?? is that that a popular one?? Then forget it NetSol will never let it be available public. They will happily block the domain and put it for auction as they always do.
You did a bad choice when backordering with RegisterFly, there are not good! Much better is SnapNames!
Find out who it's registered through and see if they have a backordering service. If it's GoDaddy, for example, your best bet would be tdnam.com. If it's a really important domain, you might want to consider multiple back-orders using several companies.
If it is at netsol, then if anyone backorders it at snapnames, it will not drop if it expires and instead be transfered directly to a new owner. So if you want it, you better use snapnames. edit: I just looked at your expired date, I think you have to preorder it before that date to get that service for sure. So you may want to place it at all you can. They all compete with each other to get drops. Don't forget enom btw.
Crud...... So would that translate to me requesting a back-order and instead they place it up for auction, and I can't bid on it?? If so thats a crummy service. Or was I a day too late? You would think they would allow new users to bid to make the price go up even more.
You have to backorder it before it goes to auction in order to be included in the auction. If you are the only one who placed a backorder on it, you get it by default without the auction phase.
$19.95. Or $3.95 extra with pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise added to it. You can get it raw, cooked, or warmed up for an extra $5.95.
