Backlinkwatch or Yahoo Site Explorer

    I am very confused...Backlinkwatch.com is showing only 367 back links for my competitor website whereas Yahoo Site Explorer is showing more than 13000 Inlinks for the same competitor website. Which one should I trust ????? Just because of backlinkwatch I chose the keywords now when I see more than 13k back links for my competitor site....I think that all the back links which I make are useless so far.....help me please

    neither. They will usually all show a different numcer

    Then what should I do??? There is a huge undeniable difference b/w the two....

    They both usually show very similar numbers when I check a site. But if you have to choose one then I think Yahoo is probably a little more reliable. Just remember to choose the option to show all links except from your domain to get a more accurate result.

    Thanks for the tip man....I didn't select "Except from this domain" that's why it was showing such an awkward result...

    Backlinkwatch is slower in terms of discovering newly added links, and less precise than Y! in my experience.
