Backlinks

    I heard that if you get a bunch of back links to a new site on the first day it won't help your PR much.

    If that's the case, what's the average amount I should try to get each day?

    ya i believe to many will esp if they are un related.
    it wont help much but it wont hurt you either.

    I have an established site, not new by any means. Any thoughts on how many links per day or per week to add? I have some catching up to do, so to speak and while I don't want google to get mad at me, I often think what the *&&*()#()# as my competition is hauling butt with link backs?

    Agree with sachy24, build a steady amount of links each day / week. Too much, too soon and big G may not like it....
