backlinks

    I heard that too many back links hurt SEO. Over the last month I got about 20 of them. Is this going to hurt me, or is it not a big deal? Thanks for your help

    20 is not a lot of backlinks. even for a month. a lot means four figures at least. just keep getting backlinks and you'll be ok

    20 a month - more like you'll be penalized for not getting enough:)
    too many backlinks never hurt a site, it's just sometimes one can get too many over a short period, which is a warning sign for SE, but again as cientificoloco said above - four figures.

    20 backlinks/month is very natural. you will be fine!

    Alot would be like an instant bump from 20 to 3000. That is what google is looking for. If you add high quality links in an incremental fashion that is totally acceptable

    it'll not hurt you...your link popularity will actually help you with traffic and SERPs at times with the right use of keywords...IMO it'll only hurt if you link with a bad site...

    Its alright with 20 backlinks but always be careful with your submission. Back links should be from related and theme based websites:)

    I don't think too many backlinks hurt especially if most of them are natural and from trusted sites.

    20 backlinks is perfectly fine.

    You should be careful when your backlinks count more than Google's - 150,199,067 :D

    IMO, huge incoming link increase wont hurt.
    this is not way to suspend website that invested tons of cash for promotion lately. and the worst, you can get thousand links a mth, so how? suspend the big giant invester? NOP.

    Increase your volume by 20 a month, each month on RELEVANT sites and you won't go wrong.
