What are they?

How is it use ful for our website?

I would like to say only one thing you got one way links for your sites from directories it's depend on you how much you can submit to your sites to directories. there are a lot of directories live directories available such as paid, free reciprocal, etc......

backlinks can improve you web ranking, you can find a huge number of directories in this forum, just post your link there and you will get backlinks if they approve your site

 

I agree. When you are able, place a link to your directory in your sig. Not only will this help you with backlinks but it will also help get your pages indexed faster. Dp is always crawled for new content and links, so there is a pretty good chance that your site will be picked up and indexed rather quickly.
