Go to yahoo and type link:yourdomain into the search bar, and you can find all external and internal links which have been discovered.

I use Yahoo! link:domain.com as well... But note that these are the inbound links that Yahoo! knows about and not necessarily those that Google knows about or even those that Yahoo! or Google give you credit for in their PR and ranking calculations. But it will give you a MUCH more exhaustive list than Google's link: operator or even Google's Webmaster Tools as both at Google only return typically a small sample of your links.

Yahoo site explorer is the best tool to check backlinks. Also as stated above Backlinkwatch. Its also gives details of no-follow links to the site.

Thank you everyone for these useful tools, I have a question, I used a couple here and one gave a number of 449 and another one gave me 18. Do these tools give you a snapshot of what's out there or am I missing something here. .

Type http://yourdomain.tld on Yahoo SiteExplorer. You will get number of links (including internal links). You can choose 'except this domain' to find only external links.
