Backlinks

I have more than 15 PR4+ (my friends added me) backlinks but they are not showing in google link:http://premijer.net . What could be the issue, they've added me 15 days ago. How long does it take usually ?

I was actually curious about the length of time it takes for backlinks to show up as well. I though that by 15 days, they would have shown up.

 

Well, they're showing up on yahoo and msn but not on google. Google is a tough one :lol: But surprisingly i've managed to get my website show up first on my main keyword (premijer) in just 9 days . And i'm in good position (first page) on other relevant keywords (dojave, sigurice, tipovi etc.). Language is Serbian btw .. and i had a lot of competitors, cca 3,000,000 showing up on 'dojave '

 

its Google algorithm it doesn't show all links in query. so don't worry about this. you can run same query on Yahoo & see your all inbounds & outbounds links.

Ironically I have the opposite issue. My links don't show up with Yahoo but do with Google. They usually should be showing up within 7-10 days though.

 

Google never lists everything. It's part of the game they play.

I just try to focus on building links and creating content. The more you look at adsense, clickbank, traffic stats, the less you are working.

 

It will show up after sometime. Its google way. SInce its PR4 it will showing up very shortly

 

I don't know my PR yet. Perhaps you misunderstand me (Or i misunderstand you), my backlinks are 3 PR6 , 5 PR5 , 7 PR4 and others are under ... So, i'm a bit in worry right now .. 15 days passed and still no backlinks. Yahoo did show some of them (not all).
And i've also asked does link exchange have any influence on PR ?

 

Google only shows a 'sample' of links. So don't worry too much about it.

You can check when your friend's pages were indexed last by google. Use advanced search to find last indexed time or use slightly inaccurate cache time.

Does google webmaster tool show these backlinks?

 

This always drives me nuts. It varies so much for each search engine. Sometimes my links show up right away in one and not the others. There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to it.

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with how often the pages get read by the spiders but predicting it seems impossible.

Google wont show all links , They show only Premium links only

Either use Yahoo to see if its linked or Google webmaster tool
Also try Yahoo Explorer , its good one
