Top forum DP!! Thanks for the warm welcome........... I'm looking for advice on creating one-way backlinks for my domains. My domains are "parked" (with Namedrive) and hence not a fully functional website. Is it worthwhile the effort to build backlinks or even pay for a service to do this?? The reason i ask this question, is that i know Google (amongst others) dislike dead-end pages full of adverts. Any advice is welcome!! Please help, AW
if you are going to spend the time on backlinks, it would only make sense to make the pages into something unique-- monetized them with google adwords and some relevant contact, then put the one way links.
Sure, build some backlinks to it to increase it's value and at least add some adsense to it to help make you some money in the mean time. You can use all of the regular methods of backlink building like forum signatures, blog comments, article directories and all that but the method I use is much quicker and the links have a LOT more juice to give your site a boost, even if it is parked.
Yep, building links from blog commenting and forums are free ,fast and effective ways to build incoming links fast.
Why bother. Build a site and content with the name. You will have more fun. The added value will be greater too. There is something not right about building links to a parked domain, and i'm a crook!!
You can comment on blogs, add the URL to sig's in forums, submit to directories, create a page on squidoo...these are good places to start.
If you are going to spend time building backlinks I'd also spend a little time adding a few pages of content. A little content and a few quick backlinks from blog comments should help some.
Thanks for all the constructive advice, it's really appreciated.......... As i presumed, domain development seems to be the only answer!! i guess i'm gonna have to learn Dreamweaver ASAP AW
