Backlinks Update

    Has anyone notice google backlinks update. My site descrease its backlinks, too sad to know.

    How about others? Did your site decrease its backlinks.

    Yes their is some changes , but my backlinks have increased not decreased . keep posting and commenting everywhere you get chance .

    May google updates backlinks.
    But backlinks update shows the past results of a site.
    I found in every backlinks update my backlinks decreasing.
    What to do ?

    I did not noticed any updates on my backlinks. I'll just wait, to see if my backlinks were increases or decreases.

    Google updates backlinks and incorporates them into the rankings daily. All they do from time to time is export a different mix of sites in the small random sample of links they know about for a page for us to get amused at in response to the link: operator.

    In my opinion, Google not simultaneously updates backlinks...Someone says his links have been updated another says that he hasn't seen anything...

    I tend to agree -- I see such dancing from time to time (this week - increased number, but previous week - decreased) so I think it isn't related in any way with the PR updates or SERP results.

    Its not a matter of agreeing or not. Its a matter of fact as Google staffers have said thats what they do.

    Unfortunately the link:mydomain.com still only shows 1 backlink for me:(
    the same backlink that is an internal page of mydomain.com and has shown for a while.. Strange how that PR-N/A internal page passes a PR-2 to my homepage!
    Go figure. :rolleyes:

    Quit looking at your back link count from Google- it is designed to do nothing but frustrate you!

    If you really want to know about backlinks, looks at the Site Explorer over at Yahoo. Not only do they give a closer to actual count, but you can also see how many links go to your home page vs. deep links.

    You are all deep linking, right?

    Spend more time building quality links and less time checking your stats.
