Backlinks update?

    I am currently adding my site to directorys and blog commenting etc..
    how long will it take before my backlinks update? as i have had the same when i search link:www.mysite.com for a while

    In terms of rankings your backlinks get updated as soon as google finds them. With regards to the link: command there is no set update shedule for that, a better way to look for your links is through the webmasters tools this shows more of your links than the link: command although not all of them.

    google usually updates the result of link:sitename.com comment before pr update
