Backlinks Update?

When do Google backlink updates occur, and how often?
I noticed MSN backlink updates are much more frequent.
I had 201 backlinks on google for about 3 months now..

 

If you do a quick search you'll find that it doesn't matter, they only show a sampling of actual BL's. The number is bogus so who cares?

 

Very true - G hides total BLs most likely to prevent SEOs from discerning the Algo.

 

They update every few months, they just updated like a month ago.

 

When they were only displaying the PR4 and more pages in the backlinks, it was cool, had a nice list of good juicy links to get. I don't think they messed it because of figuring the algo, but more to stop helping us getting the good links quick by looking at our competition backlinks. Most are internal pages links too, even less data for us... lol

 

Whats Algo?

 

It's what makes a car a Volkswagen.. No seriously go to Googles webmaster guidelines for a detailed description of Algorythm

They updated around Oct., it's always close to the time they export their pageranks.

 

it really isnt worth worry ing to much about it
its one of the few thinks Google does which has little accuracy to the nearest 100's

 

Try @www.domain.com That's updated often

Try that where?.. I check my backlinks on Marketleap.com
When I try @www.muchgames.com , it returned 0 for everything

Please explain

 

I mean to search in Google your backlinks by tipying @www.domain.com instead of link:www.domain.com
For example, Google says 696 sites link muchgames.com.

Also. if anyone has a blog, Google Blogsearch link command updates at the moment.
