Backlinks to subpages not related to main page - what's the value?

I run a service where customers create a mini-site which by the URL looks like a subpage of the mainpage:
    Main page: site.com
    Customer page: site.com/subpage

The Main page is promoting the service, which results in a customer ordering and making his subpage. The customer page is not related to the main page at all, except for the URL and the design. The customer links to his page, from his own website, like mycompanysite.com. So I'm getting a lot of links to my domain, but to the unrelated subpages. I'm trying to figure out the best way to take advantage of this.

    Appearance of backlinks
First, on a scale from 1-10, where 10 is incredible, how would you rate these backlinks, with the purpose of making the main page rank better?

    1. Link to their subpage with an image with no ALT-text
    2. Link to their subpage with an image with SEO-keyword in ALT-text
    3. Link to their subpage as a text link, no SEO-keywords in anchor
    4. Link to their subpage as a text link, includes some SEO-keywords in anchor
    5. In addition to one of the above, also a link to the Main page with SEO anchor text. This means that our customers add a link to us, in addition for the link to their own page on our site. How much value does this add?

Appearance of internal links to main page
Secondly, on the same scale from 1-10, how would you rate internal links from their subpage, to the main page, with the purpose of making the main page rank better? These are links that I control, since I decide how the header and footer looks.

    6. An SEO link to our main page in the header, early in the code
    7. An SEO link to our main page in the footer, later in the code
    8. Both header and footer
    9. A little more text in the footer than just a bare SEO link, with related keywords, like: "Want your own fast and cool _widget service_? Try Site.com's widget service now. It's really easy to _sell your widgets_ with our service." (The last _link_ is to a subpage like site.com/sell-widgets/ that is a sales page, related to the main page)
    10. Multiple footer SEO links to different landing pages related to main page: _cool widgets_ | _sell widgets_ | _fast widgets_ . Each one goes to site.com/cool-widgets and so on.

I would appreciate any tips, and also alternative methods to those listed above.
    Thank you so much!

The only thing I want to say is that when we are talking about backlinks, we are talking about web pages now website.

While linking, we check the relevancy to the two pages which we are linking together.

Take example of wikipedia. Every page has related backlink which may or may not related to their home page. And wikipedia is ruling the search results. So, don't worry about irrelevance of backlinks to your home pages. Make sure that backlinks to your home page are related to your home page.

I'm not quite sure I follow you.

What I mean by not related links is that the linking structure can look like this:

www.widgets.com (We sell a service, for example a mini website to show a photo gallery)
www.flowershop.com (Our customer, sells flowers, not at all related to widgets)

The flowershop has a link to www.widgets.com/flowershop with an anchor "our staff", which is not related to our site at all, except for the URL.
I cannot control what the user type in this link.

On the header of www.widgets.com/flowershop, I have a text "Get your own _website_" where _website_ is linked to www.widgets.com.
This is what I talk about in #6-10

In #1-5 i'm wondering how much link juice my start page (www.widgets.com) will get from a link to a sub page, which is not really related, except for my own internal links.

Let me know if you have any more tips for me! :)
