Backlinks to Home page and to other URLS

I have 99% of all of my backlinks pointing to the home page and I am # one and five on google for my main two keywords.

A.) I have landing pages for different keywords for the same keywords that I am trying to target on my home page. Is this a good idea?

B.)If so, should I be focusing more on sending backlinks to that specific URL and if so, If i send the same backlinks that i did to my home page to a new URL on my site, will google count it or do I need to get totally different links?

here's my thoughts on this. You can submit with just one URL, but it is better if you also submit your deep links. That would help your site rank more.

every links counts but the que is how much..
If you are targeting some landing pages than its better to develop link for those pages not the root domain. The more diverse you can make the better for you..so try getting links from different places not the same as root

You could have built your links to the inner pages (landing pages for the particular keywords) that would have been better. But it doesnt matter anyway because you are already #1 and #5 on google for your targeted keywords.

You should not have all of your links pointing at just the homepage. Get those deep links. Your site should saturate your niche. The more pages you have, the more links you'll have to them, and the more you'll be able to take advantage of different title tags, H1s, and PR sculpting.

My method is making the anchor text of inbound links match the title tags of the pages. Google eats this up and loves it. It makes sense to the algo, and it's the closest thing you can do to guarantee that your content is relevant to the visitor, which will decrease your bounce rate.

I'm glad to finally read a legit question. Get those deep links, I recommend using some automated bookmarking software.

Let's ponder this a moment. Your links need to point where the content is. Creating links to the home page if that is not relevant to what you are commenting on may not be the most productive for total traffic.

If you are targeting electricwidgets on the main page, but the other pages go to bluewidgets, redwidgets, and springwidgets, then you should direct links for those terms to those pages.

This is especially true if you are using social media for your link strategy. Link every unique page or post, but point it to the appropriate place for the content. On many sites you may be able to point a link to both your main page, and the interior pages which specialize on a more specific product or term.

I'm assuming you want to dominate your niche, not just the one set of keywords.
