    Your question is not clear my dear friend.! do you mean acquiring backlinks for the backlinks itself if yes, then it is of no use.

    The OP is asking about Tiered Link building.

    This is a method where you build High Quality backlinks to your "money site", then you build another tier of backlinks you your Tier 1, which can be forum posts, article directories or web 2.0 properties
    Then you start the 3rd tier, which is basically what we call spam, you blast 1000 backlinks to your tier 2 links in the form of blog comments, web profile, social bookmarks etc.
