Do backlinks count from a site, even if they have no follow value?
From what i remember, page rank doesn't come to ya with no follow, but it still counts as a backlink.

    Is this true?
    Thanks

g will count as a discounted backlink but it will not show up in the stats. They don't have an official comment that I know of but from my experience, it passes anchor text for the theme of your page but none of the PR.

The other engines that count will count it. That is, if MSN finds it at all.

Yahoo does'nt recognize nofollow tags on links, so they still count as a backlink there.

They won't help with Google though.

Ask doesn't recognize pages that have updated in the last 6 months so that's not much of a surprise. They are a pretty lousy excuse for a search engine if I have a say so. No spam but not really good current results either.

I'm talking about the href nofollow, not the meta robots nofollow. Only Google recognizes the href nofollow.

when google see nofollow on a link, it will ignore that link so links with nofollow will help nothink
