Well I have just launched my website and its obviously a PR 0 can someone tell me the very basics of building Its PR and also how will I Build solid backlinks If I gain more Backlinks with High PR does that mean my site will get a higher PR im quite confused by it all. Ross.
@Ross,you can build backlinks by linking your site to higher PR site or PR page of sites which have higher PR.Once you gain backlinks,in next PR updates,your site will get higher PR
Thanks I was just a little confused with it all so basically the more Backlinks I get with better PR the higher PR my site will get in theory ??
generally yes, backlink from higher PR site will give you more PR but the OBL of the site also under consideration Besides, you shall always remember that only dofollow backlink will pass you the PR juice, nofollow backlink will not helps you in PR
What is the diffrence between nofollow and dofollow obviously it has something todo with folowing the link but i dont understand it
Getting backlinks from different high PR sites will definitely will increase your website PR but take following cares in doing so. 1. Don't get bulk links in one day 2. Use different sources to get backlinks ( Forum posts, Blog comments, directory submissions, Articles etc ) 3. Not more than 10-20 per day links 4. Always try to get links from your relevant high PR sites 5. Use different keywords 6. Also get off page optimization of your site Hope that these tips will help you a lot to get high PR and SEPR

Quite simply -- "Dofollow" links pass on some of their good reputation/page rank/link juice to your page and boost your PR, while "Nofollow" links don't.
