Backlinks pointing to Subdomain VS Add-on Domain

    Good Day,
I created a new site this morning as an Add-on domain and a question occured to me. I hope all you experts can help out. Let say I create the add-on domain:

    http://www.AddOn.com

I use Bluehost as a host and every time I create an add-on domain they automatically create a subdomain to my main website. For Example:

    http://AddOn.mywebsite.com

Now if I were to get backlinks to my site and pointed them at AddOn.mywebsite.com, what would be the affect on my PR and SERP. Would both www.mywebsite.com and www.AddOn.com get credit? Or would one get credit and not the other? Or something else entirely?

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

A link to www.addon.com will benefit addon only.

A link to addon.mywebsite.com will only benefit addon.mywebsite.com

Same applys to non-www and www url, suffering from PR split.
