I am just a newbie on Google services and I just want to know how will I know can I know how many backlinks on Google does my blog already have. Where can I find it?
You won't find all your links by using any link operator on Google, they only show a small sample as a matter of policy. The link operator does work on yahoo, so you can assume that if they know about your backlinks, it's likely that Google does. But really you need to register wirth Google webmaster tools.
There is a free program by Softnik Technologies called Good Keywords that will show you what type of backlinks you have going towards your site. It tells you Google Links (PR3 or higher), Yahoo, and Altavista and Alexa links. For a free app I this is one of my mainstay favorites. If you are looking for the specific urls that link back to your site then simply go to backlinkwatch.com
