Backlinks not showing up

Hi Guys,

I have a question. I looked at one of my sites at the backlinks. Very few seem to show up in google. The weird things that the site is listed in DMOZ and that link is not showing up as a backlink in google? It appeared in DMOZ
about a year and a half ago already.

Why would that be?

google probably didnt index that page and google updates its backlinks once every few months so maybe give it until the next update and i dont know if they do show dmoz in the backlink thing, i've never seen it though

 

The problem is that that DMOZ link was there now it's dissapeared from google, yet the site is still listed in DMOZ.

 

i hae a dmoz listed web site too. G is not showing the link from dmoz to public

 

Google does not show all the backlinks... you can try using the Yahoo powered backlink Analyzer to see the top ten pages.

 

Google would re-index all your pages in 6 months

 

Make a link from your hompage to DMOZ page where your link is and direct the spider
