backlinks not contributing to PageRank nither showing, why?

I have exchanged links for my blog with few other sites, which include addition of links on PR3 sites etc.

But when I query google with link:MyURL even PR3 links don't show as backlinks and obviously they will not contribute to PR.

So what is the reason for that?

Why an even PR3 link don't show as back link. And even months passed but that is not showing.

 

Google doesnt show backlinks, well the majority of them anyway. You will have to use google webmaster tools to see your backlinks.

google not publish all back links, but you can check under webmaster tools. google show only % most relavent to your site, PR not take into account. content and related site back link is King more than PR value.

 

Google doesn't like link exchanges (reciprocal links) especially if they are not relevant to each other

 

G won't show all the backlinks of your site. Instead, check with Yahoo using the same search term link:YourURL or bl checkers like
http://backlinkwatch.com/
http://seopro.com.au/free-seo-tools/link-checker/
http://seoanalytic.com/tools/backlink_checker/
or some sort...
or G webmaster tool

 

go to google and seach for backlink checker tools or google webmaster tools. That should detect all your links because if you only type the link:URL it wouldn't show all your BL.

 

Sometimes it need time for the result of backlinks that have you made to appear in the search engine.That what happened to me months ago.

Ok it is clear now that google does not show all backlinks but does it consider all of them while calculating the PR?

 

maybe they add script nofollow on those link

 

Check your backlinks with Yahoo. It is more relevant than Google.

 

google do not show all the links linking to you and it only show some of the authorative links.........try finding it many other programs available on the internet

Try the free tool at seo-forensics.com to see both Google and Yahoo backlinks. It can take several weeks for the backlinks to have any effect. My understanding is that PR only gets updated 2-3 times per year. Don't worry about PR too much. You can have low PR and still rank really well fro your keywords.
