I am sorry to ask you this basic and seems stupid question!But i am wondering that we called backlinks mean my site link contain in other site pages only or must fits the conditions that has to disapear in SERP? Thanks!

The key is wether other pages appear in the SERP? For example, if i post a atricle in other pages, but the page not indexed in google, can they regarded as the backlinks?
