Backlinks in Google

    Do you have any idea when google is updaing backlinks data for a particular website? ( link:www.website.com)

    actually i cant understand your question properly.if you asking when google is making update that i don't know.if your results are effected then think google made update.

    As per observation, I think they do it every 7-10 days...

    I have seen my link updated at around that interval. What I don't quite get is that, the links sometimes is reduced and some of my backlinks that I am sure should be included are not included for whatever reason.

    What you can do is - get your site in Google Webmaster tool. It displays more number of backlinks and you can actually see the progress of links over there pretty fast.
