Backlinks from youtube

    Hello,

    I embedded some youtube vids in my blog and i noticed that now the youtube pages that originally show the video show up as backlinks.
    does pr get passed in this situation?

    Good question, and honestly I don't know. Personally I doubt it since it's not an anchor leading to another document, but who knows.

    If someone has a better answer (and can prove it), I'd love to see it.

    No, the links don't pass any pagerank. They all have the nofollow attribute.

    I would say that they do not pass pr being that they are nofollowed
