Backlinks from your own Domain: Do They Help?

    Say you have a large number of pages indexed by the major se's, does it help to have backlinks to your main page from these tertiary pages?

    Not that I'm aware of, subdomains might a little bit, but on the same main domain, I don't think so

    I think they help spread the Pr around site. If you link back to main page it might help. Try finding topic about 3 way links and other methods some do make a difference

    I would say that site interlinking is EXTREMELY important. I would also say that you should link your content pages to each other, for instance if content page 80 has related keywords to content page 4 then contextually link the text.

    thanks for the responses so far. I found this thread, on which some people seem to think the internal linking aspect is important.
