    Squidoo, IMHO, is a simple/elegant, and free place to build a small authority site build around a micro-niche or longtail keyword that points to other sites with related keywords.

    Yes, But as there were spammers more than actual users squidoo has changed all its TOS and now very strict about links and content. They are denying most of the promotional activities..

    Squidoo has a strict policy now but it is still a marketing elite! I create tons of lenses almost everyday and dont have any issues. You just have to know it, besides, i do not prefer much of promotional stuffs; would rather create some useful lenses that actually works for me and my clients!

    Elite system is 1000% right. The lenses which are with good content never face any troubles with their TOS. It is still giving great support for those lens masters. They are strict against highly promotional and spammy content only. :) Thanks for the share that you are getting great support from squidoo, elite..

    No problem mate ;).. I joined squidoo in the early 2008 and so far it has been good. They are developing this platform quite fast; Since 2008, it has changed a lot. I mentioned this earlier; i have several accounts lying in the corner. I have no idea how some of them are making money without putting much work into it. I realized that the aged lenses perform better if you know how to make it work. Good luck :)

    I know many guys who are making money from Squidoo from ads and affiliate programs/amazon. But with squidoos new policies affiliate programs other than sites similar to amazon will be completely wiped off. Yeah as you have told, earlier lenses scored well and got the maximum benefit. But still all my links are nofollow free there. That's the only benefit am getting from my lenses :)

    I haven't had much luck with Squidoo. I have gotten 1st page ranking though with Scribd, the conversion is not great but better than Squidoo...at least for me.

    Scribd is a better source. But I don't think that it is better than squidoo.. and what kinda conversions you have got from scribd ;)
