Hello. I know that the best backlinks are links with a relevant anchor text coming from sites with relevant content. So if I need backlinks for a site about say roses, it would be best to get them from other floral sites. I am doing sites in different languages, so my question is whether Google is clever enough to know that a link coming from an English rose site going to a German rose site is relevant?
yes google has the capability to detect the relevancy of links from other languages websites as well............as they understand the language of HTML .......
Google have its translate in their search results too. My guess is that they will detect the backlinks from other languages as well. This is just my opinion.
I have got this question in mind before, then i realized that Google do understand link back to my site in different language but relevant topic, and it's still rank well.
yes, google can detect it that the languanges are different different for both the sites, so better will be, if you get the same language links for ur sites. Thanks
I agree with the other posters that Google can detect the language. However this is not to say that link is not valuable. This could be viewed as the same practice as submitting to directories to help get the site indexed. In my opinion relevancy is more important when you are trying to grow your site. Quick back links will only get you so far.
