Backlinks from bookmark directories

    No. weight depends on the value of that site or directory. It makes different from getting backlink from Dmoz and a1webdirectory.

    If you are getting links to your site about technology and the directory is about technology, that's a quality backlink. And, yes. PR is the key pretty much to getting your site higher in the SERPS ;)

    I really eel that relevance is more important than PR by a long shot. Go for relevance not PR
