    That depends on your backlinks, if you have commented on posts that are related to your blog/site and have high PR,quality content and less no. of outgoing link then you may get good ranking.

    well the blog has A high PR that is PR5 and there are less comments on it with a dofollow three pages of that blog has been cached by google and added those to their backlinks page but the website is still not shown on yahoo though it is indexed and on google it has around 30th position for my target keyword

    It just means that the said link is not enough to push your rankings up.
