Back links from blogs are good but it should not be "Nofollow".

as long as they are relevant to your blog then its good - the less links they have on that page the better it is for you - basic stuff people - just don't do too much and get caught eh?

Hi, well some of the offers were related to my web site (mine isn't a blog) but I don't really want to pay say $100 for 2 PR6 links with no noticable increase to my ranking

Here's some free advice, so take it for what it's worth. If someone at DP claims that they have a "PR 6" blog, you need to examine it closely. I have been checking out many of the offers for link sales, and have found a lot of chicanery and tomfoolery occurring.

Forget PR. It's "Fool's Gold" for the people who haven't made a careful study of Google Rankings since 2006. PR went out the door and is eye candy. People sell "PR links" because its' the only thing "visual" to say a website is "quality."

What really matters is rankings. Buy targeted anchor text from related pages, especially ones that rank for desired terms. If you do that, you'll be making six figures annually with your websites. Stick with PR and you will constantly have to find other suckers to sell links to.

I have a 'link pack' I sell for 25EUR (about 40$) which includes 1x pr6 (main page is pr6 there are 15+ pr4 subs, and 100+ pr1 subs) site wide link, and 2x pr3 (also with numerous pr1-pr2 sub pages) site wide links, all 3 blogs are political in nature. 100$ for 2x pr6 links is a scam.

send me a pm for the URLs so you can check quality/pr/etc

    farhajr,

This is very true. It is easy to detect old blog post and raise a red flag for comment spam, but it has to be done in the masses. You basically, have to have software which is comment spamming for you and creating thousands of comment post in a short amount of time. It's the same with guestbook spamming. You more than likely will not get your website banned for these actions, because Google (or any other search engine) don't have any way to know who is responsible for the influx of links, but your site can be devalued or sandboxed for this. If you are comment spamming manually then you have nothing to worry about because you can't raise the flag by building links the manual way -- or at least its way too difficult.

Just make sure those backlinks are "dofollow" ... otherwise their weight will be much less.

Yes, I agree, it is the best link you can have. If the blog is popular you can even get more visitors to your website.

Thanks to all, this is really helpful :)

Okay, so if someone offers 300 blog backlinks but blogs don't yet have a PR, is it worth it?
I have seen many peeps buying these packages
