    Hi all
What is the latest consensious these days on articles and SEO. DO backlinks from articles actually help serps?
Before we even start I think that they should not
    1.Editing of URL from article
    2.Duplicate IP of many sites
    3. G probally have an algo against this.
    4. They normally appear on pages with no juice.

The reasoning behind this is I employed an SEO firm probally one of the most expensive in the Uk to work on a site, and as far as I can see this is their only linkbuilding strategy. Is this flawed?

It definitely is a flawed strategy to rely on only article submissions or any other single strategy for that matter.

Article submissions do help rankings and traffic, especially on Yahoo and MSN. So it is a good strategy to use, but I think it would be best done in conjunction with several other strategies.

If you are that pessimistic about article submissions, you probably shouldn't have hired that seo firm. Before hiring anyone to do seo, you should be familiar with what strategies they will use.

    Mmm
Good advice but alas a little late.
We have tended always to do SEO inhouse and used now what we considered the UK market leader. I am one unhappy bunny.
They were questioned posed prior, and sadly for them all calls are digitally logged and recorded.
Too ,much trust on my part I guess
