Backlinks fro the same site

hello everyone

google counts some of my pages as backlinks to the same website.
how could this be and will it help in pagerank and ranking

 

yes it help in ranking. its called internal linking. if you can , link your contents with each other, only those related.

 

it helps...especially bcoz u can decide the anchor text for those backlinks as evrything is in ur control...but again anything in excess may harm!

sure it is counted, my all pages have a link back to my home page, which would help to add more links to it, but do not do it excessly, but untill established to now, my site has good ranking in Google, for your reference.

Yes its possible, Your site PR's will pass on page to your internal pages with low PR to help them boost the internal page PR's , nothing new in it

 

I know it definitely helped a couple of years ago.. but you never know with Google they are always changing importance, switching things up- so to speak.
