Googe will eventually filter these links coming from signature forums... You must look elsewhere rather wasting time on increasing links via forums. Its good only for some traffic but not for SEs

Of course it will.. Some people on other forums have ~25k posts and what not...

They get filtered along w/ the rest of us.

Yeah, usually posting your site over and over again will get you into trouble in most forums (unless of course it's in the sig)...

It's commonly refered to as SPAM.

You will get banned for spamming before google finds the links.

    yes you will have :)

    BUT
    what will its benefit?

    they are worthless backlinks.

You get SERP love only for quality of backlinks not quantity of backlinks :)

No. One forum link is very useless let alone many. One or two content links are more valuable than sitewide links unless of course the traffic is more beneficial to you than the google value. Don't use forums to build link value or you will get nowhere.

Google disvalues forum links because they are very low quality and there are so many of them. What little value they bring isn't worth posting for.

This is 100% true for Google but not for other SE. But not for other SEs. Yahoo and MSN love just any links. They go by quantity of backlinks rather than quality. That's why its harder in google compared to others.
