I haven't had backlinks like this in nearly a year. My links went from about 35 to 122 since yesterday. Has anyone else seen a big jump in BL's?

Indeed, and another interesting note, in that search, G only shows about 53 BL's when the KW Tracker shows 122. Any thoughts on that one? All I know is more is better :)

(I guess being active in the forums aint such a bad thing eh?)

Must be data center flux, because I show 122 when I look on Google.

Mine jump from 0 to 232, but most are internal links :)

Jumping in on this thread... my backlinks went from 43 to 0

I have been waiting in anticipation for the backlink update because I know I have more links. What a bummer :(

I did recently change my whole site over from HTML to PHP but I removed all file extensions and did a 301 redirect for the pages? Does anyone have any idea on why I would go backwards?

my links just went up from 42 to 57 for the first time in a couple months; most of new stuff is forum links.

do google backlinks mean anything anymore? mine appear to be completely random and change periodically (though the number remains constant).

I noticed an increase in mine as well. Old links are dropped however.

I think your pages have to be indexed by Google for at least 1 backlink update before they register. They'll be up on the next update. :)
