backlinks don't work

    Hello fellow SEOs,

    this is my first post, i really like the Keywword Tracker and the Backlink Checker. With my site there is a problem that wasn't solved in teh FAQ nor in this forum, maybe someone can help?

    first of all, you did a wonderfull job, this ist a great tool you are
    offering!

    On google i cannot find any backlinks to my site with:
    link:peru-erlebnisreisen.de
    (http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=link%3Aperu-erlebnisreisen.de&meta=)
    only with:
    link: peru-erlebnisreisen.de (note the blank space!)
    http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=link%3A+peru-erlebnisreisen.de&meta=
    i get results.

    I tried eveerything to get the backlinks work on my account at digital point. but it simply shows backlinks=0 even if google tells me there are 1100

    What's the URL exactly as you have it entered in the back link tracker?

    www.peru-erlebnisreisen.de

    it has never worked.

    I've tried it with "http://" and without.

    I've tried it with a blank space in front and without. I thinik I've tried everything.

    Iin google it shows me that we have 1100 backlinks while the backlink checker shows 0 for every option.

    Only if i enter: %3A peru-erlebnisreisen.de i get a result of 2 backlinks.

    I don't get it.

    What's the URL of your search query in Google that shows you having links reported? When I try it, I get zero.

    You have a space in your query which is wrong. It's no different than searching Google for peru-erlebnisreisen.de link.

    That's exactly my point. The backlinks ar only found when i add the space before peru-erlebnisreisen.de

    But i cannot find out the backlinks with digitalpoint as i can't check the url with the space before startung the url. Has anyone a recomendation what i can do, so the Backlink Tracker will show me teh correct number of back links?

    It's only going to report what Google reports. Since Google is reporting 0 for your site, the back link tracker will as well.

    but google finds 1020 backlinks, but with a space before the url. if i put the space before the url in tha backlink checker it doesn't get the 1020 backlinks google shows but a 0.

    Those aren't back links Google is reporting to you. The link: function does not work with a space in it. All you are doing it a search for pages with the word link and your domain in the content.
