    Hi all,

I just need some opinion about this:

I had one domain (a forum) that has around 150,000 pages that has my text link on it. A few weeks ago it was still on my Google Webmaster Tools, but now I do not see it anymore?

Here is the menus to this section:
    Your site on the web
    Links to your site
    Overview » All domains

so basically I see the domain having 150,000 pages that has my text link... a few weeks ago.. and it is now gone from the list. I also try to search a few more domains like the domains that has a good PR and now they are gone as well. I am pretty sure this affected my ranking and I have no idea what happened here.

Please give your advice or opinions..

    THANKS!

Google could have kicked you out from their results, IE; banned for whatever reason. Are you still getting natural search engine traffic?

Can you be more specific and tell me why? Google is still crawling the domain, the only problem is that the domain that has my textlinks disappear!

Do those domains still have pages indexed by Google? In other words if you did Google searches those domains are still there.

I think with 2 recent algorithm changes, (Content Farm and Panda) there's been some funny stuff happening. It can be that the links from those sites have been dropped, or those sites have been dropped altogether.

Why not post up the URL's of the sites so we can check it out?

That sounds reasonable! But those domains only have a very low OBL... I wouldn't consider it as link farm or such?

And yes google still indexing those domains... although it dropped from 200k index pages to 100k index pages. I am not sure of the dropped index numbers... but I believe everybody is affected by dropped index.

Some research reveals that no sites were hand affected by Google, it is all algorithm based.

For that to work it means a program is somehow measuring OBL's. It could also be volume of OBL's to a specific URL or volume of OBL's vs content etc.

Either way it spells that Google now can strike out sig links but not post or thread content, this means that good content still gets indexed and a sig link may get traffic but will not get SEO link value benefit.

Do not worry... It happens in Google webmaster tools.
It never shows your accurate backlink count. You better check it using Yahoo! site explorer.
