Backlinks Confusion !!!

    Hi guys,

    Everyone knows that backlinks one of the most important factors in SEO, and everyone knows that backlinks must have these characteristics:

    - Quality
    - Quantity "not that much"
    - Relative websites
    - Diversify
    And more!!

    But several times when I check Backlinks for a ranked website I see that it has very week backlinks from week website and non relative !

    Which is ranked for: best portable vaporizers

    Can u please clarify this ?

    Hey, yeah. Big websites have got tousands of backlinks and it´s normal that few of them are spammy. They can´t influence that. And question if spammy backlinks is hurting your web is very unclear, because no one can affect that someone is linking to his website.
    Autoritative backlinks are important

    Some website are ranking for only 5 backlinks and each one of theme comes from Chinese website.

    Sorry, but I don´t take seriously your posts, you are just doing backlinks from forum (that don´t work either). It´s annoying. Show me example of that website

    Ofcourse, there will always be a mixture of low quality sites on authority sites but you shouldn't bother yourself with that.

    Rather focus on high pr sites, low obl, relevance is not actually a must but still important.

    You're very likely not seeing the whole picture. Professional SEOs use spider blockers such as SpyderSpanker to block backlink crawlers from Majestic, ahrefs, etc. If this guy is competing in the e-cigarette niche, then he's likely using a sizable private blog network (PBN) and like a smart SEO, he's blocking you from seeing it.

    Secondly, as @Kanonig mentioned, relevance is not actually a must. The entire SEO community acknowledges that its important, but no one has ever actually proven it to be so: http://moz.com/blog/6-changes-google-hasnt-made-to-seo-whiteboard-friday

    Well, I have looked towards the keyword "best portable vaporizers " and tell you what the competition is not that much I mean on that keyword one can get himself ranked by applying certain efforts. Next thing that draws my attention is the backlink graph it looks like they have gone for the link removal process because their backlink graph decreases down and while looking at another thing is it is getting those 6 or 7 backlink from some authoritative site which is sure to giving him some benefit. Next thing I have noted is the they have forum which I am sure is giving then link juice. This blend is helping them to climb up in the search result.
