Backlinks Change to Point Somewhere Else After a While...Still Count?

    Hello,

I have a question that I have on my mind for some time....

Let`s say I have a few articles submitted to various article directories with some backlinks pointing to my website`s pages. Now, let`s say after a few months I decide to change those backlinks from within those articles and point them to another website of mine.

My question: those backlinks will still pass link juice to my new site after re-indexed or they are not taken into consideration by Google after the change?

    Thanx !

once the backlinks are changed and the article pages are crawled again by google, google will follow the links to the new pages and count those backlinks for the new pages.
