I seem to remember that several sites did report no (or very small) backlinks update after the last one..??

Maybe they are seeing the huge increase now that most of us got the last time??

I "gained" 1300 backlinks then, but lost 800 of them now...
Almost all of them are internal ones.
I've checked google now and they are still indexed, but not showing as backlinks anymore....

I lost my link to the tool that checked PR on several google IP's
Can somebody please post the url here.
Also, it would be a good thing to add this tool to digitalpoint.
    It's most useful.

    To get back on topic.
On one of my sites have an huge increase in traffic - about 6-8k more uniques a day.
Only a slight increase in backlinks though.

Oh, the thrill of a google update - sizzle

Google directory is updated with PR. If you're in there, you can get a peek at what's going to happen over the next few days. The future PR tool is still showing old results across all datacenters.

Well damn... you're right. :) Google directory has this forum at PR7 and all my tools (deeplinks) at PR7 (all up from PR6). www.digitalpoint.com still PR7 though.

Does anyone know why I would have 326 backlinks when using link: www.widgets.com (with a space before the URL) versus 47 backlinks when not using a space (link:www.widgets.com).

Which is the correct way to do a link search and which count affects the serps?

I just had backlinks updated but all of the new incoming links I received have not shown up. Most of the newly showing links are internal links, and not all of the internal links are showing. Weird!

Without the space is the correct way to do it. With the space is a literal query for the words.

wow, a directory update.. wasn't expecting that.

moved to the top my category (about 100 sites)

our PR in the directory is 22 of 40 pixels (I guess that's a 5? seems odd though)

In the google directory categories I watch it is bad news all round.

It seems everyone has taken a PR hit and dropped one point (owda 10)

    Oh except us Yippie!

Anyone else noticing general decreases in PR (in the directory as thats all we have to go on so far)?

    Actually, I believe that's a PR6. :)

I'm seeing every site/page that I link to from my DMOZ editor profile being PR7. Which means my profile page much have been boosted to PR8 or something.

It is a PR 6, I've got the same on my site as well.. :)
    (it's been PR 6 for a while)

I have 14 differnent pages listed in the directory, and I can see that some of them have "jumped" from PR5 to PR6, and I've moved to the #1 spot in my main category.. :)

Bob The toolbar instals as a prog, so you can uninstal from the 'add & remove spftware' facility in control panel. Took me an age to work out how when my toolbar first went native on me lol
