I have a question, if a site have Backlinks of Domains and another site with Backlinks for specific page, what are chances of the site to reach on top in Google ? Waiting for some information on this.
There are two things about the incoming back links that will make a the difference for you. The page-rank of the back link, and the relevance of the page from which you are getting a link. From experience, the domain links could have better rank than pages of a domain. So if your website is getting links from a domain that is relevant to yours and has a PR3 for example, your site will be better off than if you are getting links from a web page on the same site that has no rank at all. There is one caveat though! Things change quickly online, and search engine algorithm are hidden so it can change from day to day.
When creating backlinks with a specific keyword, it is always good to link to the specific article elaborating on the same... especially if the the domain name has no relevancy with that particular keyword! In my opinion... it is always good to be linking to a specific page... rather than guiding everything on the main page! Regards, RightMan
I think it depends on what you are targeting at. If you want to rank for that particular page, you'd better link to the specific pages.
It's hard to be on top for many organic search keywords for your domain, it's easier to rank high for different keywords on different pages since the content is more relevant. You can target your audience better with specific pages. Build your backlinks to these pages as well with the keywords in your backlinks.
In my own experiences, deep linking to inner pages would be better than only backlink to homepage in only you have links to your homepage on inner pages. Deep linking strategies would be really helpful in ranking for more keywords, especially for those long tail ones and thus help in increasing your SERP and conversion rate. Thanks,
For gating PR fast you have to crest some quality back links and also start SMO by doing this you get ranked in next PR updation. you have to wet at lest 3 months.
It depends on if you have the keywords you wnaat to rank for in the URL or in the text of that specific page !
My advise (and my site is #1 in a massive market) is too build great content first, and keep updating with fresh content as much as possible (I have 2 articles published everyday) - then you need thousands of great one way links from sites that are relevant to your site. Plus a few other things, but within 5 month after working 15 hrs a day I did it.
using this method has no huge impact on Google rankings but it could help. Hope you will get what I mean.
I would recommend you do both homepage and deep links strategy. Google does not judge the site based on homepage only but overall website value. If you want to archive the first page results, "Trust" and "Authority" is a must to acquired first. Deep links spread all over inner pages can boost up your site trust instead of have backlinks to homepage only.
It also helps to get backlinks that have "trust" with Google. Like those who have domain names that have been registered a long time. Backlinks within your niche are probably the best. I have also heard it helps if you link out to trusted sites but I don't remember seeing it proven.
spend time getting back links within your niche as these are most valuable. Also see what competitor back-links are and mimic them.
