Backlinks and PR info sharing thread

    Alright I'd like to get an idea on how many backlinks you guys have and what page rank you have.

    My site used to be a PR 3 and it went down to a 2 roughly 6 months ago. I don't know why it dropped cause my backlinks have gone up over time but maybe the G has made some changes. Current backlinks are 77 down 50 over the past few days :/

    So 77 links and PR2

    My PR are remaining steady, but hundreds of thousands of backlinks will do that for you.
    If you are selling links, be sure not to exceed 15-20 per page.
    Beyond that, you are asking for trouble.
    Be patient, and create backlinks daily.
    The next update, you will likely go back up.

    This is pointless, there's no correlation. For example, i have 5 backlinks and a PR7 on one site and 100k and a PR4 on another.

    I have 21 K backlinks for a site and PR is 3.

    On another site, 2K backlinks and PR is 4.

    So you can see that PR is not only related to the number of backlinks, the relevancy and quality of backlinks matters a lot.

    It's not just the total number of backlinks, but the quality of the backlinks as well. Backlinks from high PR pages are going to give your PR more of a boost than backlinks from low PR pages.

    theres no relationship - I got a Pr3 on one site before I knew what a backlink was!

    I think PR is relate to content and backlink is relate to SERP.
    My blog with 2 backlink has PR3 but the other has 3k backlink has PR2.
